CULINA LOGISTICS SECURES PRESTIGIOUS ORGANIC ACCREDITATION January 10, 2011 News Culina Logistics, the leading provider of supply chain services to food and drink companies in the UK, has become one of the first multi-site logistics providers in the UK to be accredited with the Soil Association’s Organic Certification of Registration after satisfying the charity’s rigorous organic standards criteria. The accreditation is made by the Soil Association – the membership charity responsible for promoting organic farming and food in the UK – to any organisation that is involved in the processing, packing or selling, breaking down, repacking, trading, distributing or re-labelling of organic food. The award means organisations working with any of Culina’s eight depots are able to substantiate claims that its products are certified organic, will not damage the environment and can be traced back to sustainable sources. Currently Culina Logistics works with a number of chilled and ambient food companies that have organically certified products, including RDA Organic and Adams Foods Ltd.
