ALL THINGS STAINLESS December 10, 2012 News Meeting strict hygiene and safety standards in the baking industry is key, and that is why Teknomek, the UK’s leading manufacturer of hygienic stainless steel furniture and equipment, has found a growing market for its extensive range of products. To help bakery professionals select from its range of over 1,800 products, the company has just published a new and improved annual product catalogue. Launched this October, the 148-page bumper edition will be the new ‘go to guide’ for all things Teknomek, with a bright, clear layout designed for easy browing. Products have been divided into 12 sectors for ease of use with each product having a full description, dimensions and price. Teknomek’s new multi-functional food preparation unit is just one of the featured products which have been specially selected to meet the needs of the food processing industry. Featuring a practical, flexible design to promote cleanliness and tidiness, the unit is ideal for customers looking to keep their working environment organised and hygienic. Made from fully-welded, 304 grade stainless steel, the construction is sufficient to meet the demands of any wash-down procedures, ensuring strict hygiene standards are met at all times. The 30 x 30mm box section frame with 1.5mm sheet steel is built to an 840mm high working area, with a built-in eye level dispensing area comprising six gastronorm containers (which are 1/6 of the standard size) below a full width 300mm deep shelf. The standard unit measures 1200 x 600 x 840mm, and can be tailored to individual requirements as all table add-on units can be accommodated, including a keyboard drawer, retractable bin and two or three drawer cupboard units.
