National Bakery Training (NBT) is part of Scottish Bakers and is a specialist UK-wide work-based learning provider of bakery and food manufacture training, qualifications and apprenticeships with over 20 years’ experience of delivering to craft, plant and production bakers.

Their Training Manager, Karen Taylor, said “Our training team is comprised of trainers with knowledge and experience of craft bakery, production bakery, food manufacturing and retail bakery. Therefore they can pass on their practical skills and knowledge and assist new and existing bakers to gain a recognised national qualification for the skills and knowledge that they have gained in the workplace.”

NBT’s training programmes are government funded and can be tailored to the individual requirements of each bakery, regardless of size.
