JBT FoodTech appoints UK key account manager

JBT FoodTech has appointed John Palmer as a key account manager for the Frigoscandia range of freezing, cooling and chilling systems, Stein coating and frying equipment, and the Double D range of cookers, searer/grill-markers and baking ovens.

John has over 25 years’ experience in the meat industry, having started his career in the butchery trade before becoming a meat inspector for Anglian Tendabeef (trading as Fribo). He then worked for FIE selling Polyclip Clippers and Alpina Bowlcutters.

In 2003 he co-founded Paragon Processing Solutions Ltd, an agent for US firm Blentech Corporation, a manufacturer of steam-jacketed cooking vessels. He was European top sales person for three years running for Magurit, a German manufacturer of fresh and frozen meat reduction systems, and most recently worked for DanTech, a Lancashire-based agent for Metalbud Nowicki and UK manufacturer of bacon presses and conveyor systems.

John will be responsible for sales and aftermarket support for UK customers of the company’s range of coating equipment, fryers, cookers, searer/grill markers, baking ovens and freezers.
