NICHOLL APPOINTS NEW CEO

Food packaging specialist, the Nicholl Group of Companies has appointed Fabrice Deriaz as Chief Executive Officer.

Fabrice joins Nicholl following seventeen years with Nestlé SA in a variety of sales and business management roles in Thailand, Taiwan and China where he was involved in investment strategies within those highly competitive markets. Most recently he was Head of Global Route to Market and Service Solutions for Beverages at Nestlé Professional in Switzerland.

He has a vast knowledge of FMCG markets, in particular the food industry, with extensive experience of general management, sales and key account management, marketing and business development.

“We are delighted to welcome someone with the pedigree of Fabrice to the Nicholl Group,” comments Richard Barrick, Group Chairman. “His knowledge and experience will be invaluable in taking the company to the next level of growth and success.”

Fabrice succeeds John Griffiths who is leaving following a four year tenure during which time he played a key role in the restructuring and subsequent development of the Nicholl Group.

Nicholl is the European leader in the design and manufacture of aluminium foil trays and also offers a portfolio of trays in other materials to provide a comprehensive range of packaging solutions for a wide variety of food markets.
