Peppa Pig reaches new heights August 7, 2013 News The team behind Peppa Pig ice cream, Icefresh Foods Ltd, took the kids’ favourite to new heights last month as they completed the Three Peaks Challenge, feasting on the lollies at the top of the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. The team donned their walking boots as part of their 30 year anniversary celebrations and raised more than £13,000 in support of a charity close to their hearts, the University of North Staffordshire Hospital. Phil Webster, MD of Icefresh Foods Ltd said; “Peppa really has reached new heights, conquering the UK’s highest mountain. We’d like to say thank you to everyone who has supported our 30th anniversary fundraising efforts; the University of North Staffordshire Hospital were a fantastic support to our Sales Manager Phil Carter and his family when their son was born 15 weeks prematurely, so it is great to be able to give something back.
