Quality, flexible printing for packaging materials December 4, 2013 News Allen France SAS, part of Allen Coding Systems has installed an NG4+ thermal transfer coder on to a packaging line at GermLine, a French specialist producer of organic foods, including cereal bars, seeds, lentils, rice and dried fruit. Located in Sancoins, France, GermLine is using the NG4+ in conjunction with a Rotech feeder to print use-by dates, batch numbers, times, barcodes and other text on to plastic PP film bags containing dried fruit. Designed for quality, flexible printing on packaging materials across large print areas of five to 10cm, the system at GermLine operates at 50 items per minute. Compact and space saving with an integrated control unit, the NG4+ can operate on machines at speeds of up to 500mm per second in intermittent mode and up to 29m per minute in continuous mode. Gérard de Saint-Martin from Allen France, comments: “Our customer chose this option since it offered the best resolution as well as clean, sharp print, reliability and a larger print area compared with competitive machines.” A spokesperson from GermLine comments: “The exceptionally high quality of our food products is paramount to our success. The high standards of printing achieved using the Allen Coding system helps to reflect the quality of the product and we are delighted with the results.” Tel: 01438 347770 www.allencoding.com About Latest Posts Publisher Latest posts by Publisher (see all) ZEO INVESTS IN LARGEST EVER BRAND RELAUNCH WITH NEW NO ADDED SUGAR RANGE & CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR CAROLINE FLACK - April 26, 2017 NEEDHAM CODING LAUNCHES FIRST OWN BRAND CONTINUOUS INK JET PRINTERS - April 25, 2017 FANUC ROBOTS CAN HANDLE THEIR BELGIUM BEER - April 25, 2017
