Ripe for the growing season

Holfeld Plastics has unveiled its growing family of K37 punnets. Joining the K37-40 and K37-85 is the K37-50, 60 and 70mm depths, which compliment the portfolio of fresh produce soft fruit and salad packaging.

The Standard Crate Fit K37 family is manufactured from super cleaned r-PET with at least 85% recyclate in the blend. The portfolio has been designed with a sympathetic rib design for on-shelf presentation, maximum visibility of the soft fruit as well as in-transit protection. Sloping vents in the base allow the soft fruit to breathe, even when the punnets are in transit from packhouse to retailer, reducing in-pack condensation and enhancing the shelf life of the soft fruit.

Modified lips allow for heat-sealed or lidded options. There are up to 28 colours to select from in the standard range, with bespoke colours available on request.
