FFP’s Platinum Print Brightens Up A Great British Brand September 1, 2014 News FFP Packaging Solutions have supplied new freezer-aisle packaging for Harry Ramsden’s At Home chicken dippers, printed using their award-winning Platinum Print HD flexo process. FFP printed the packs through Platinum Print process to get the very best out of the photographic elements of the design and the vibrant colours. Platinum Print is an award-winning print protocol developed over a two year programme, considering every aspect of the print process and refining it to get the best possible results, even down to testing to find the best plate mounting tape. Investment in new printing equipment and the latest in-house platemaking equipment has gone hand-in-hand with research into imaging, high density ink and colour management, including installation of the latest x-rite spectrophotometers and software. The packs are a polyester/polythene laminate, reverse printed in eight colours. Platinum Print allows strong, vibrant colours to sit comfortably alongside soft vignettes and shading. That quality comes through strongly on these packs; the dynamic red of the top and bottom strips works well alongside the ‘newspaper’ detail in the background of the image, which is printed cleanly with no ‘tidemarks’ and no ‘carry dot’ to detract from the pure white of the background. FFP have a long and successful partnership with the manufacturers, 2 Sisters Food Group, and this project comes through the development of a great working relationship between the companies over a number of years. Commenting on the new designs, 2 Sisters Group Business Development Director Jeremy Chew said, “The new packs look great, they look bright and full of impact in the freezer. We were delighted with the result, and with FFP’s support throughout the project.” Tel: 01604 798600 www.ffppkg.co.uk About Latest Posts Publisher Latest posts by Publisher (see all) ZEO INVESTS IN LARGEST EVER BRAND RELAUNCH WITH NEW NO ADDED SUGAR RANGE & CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR CAROLINE FLACK - April 26, 2017 NEEDHAM CODING LAUNCHES FIRST OWN BRAND CONTINUOUS INK JET PRINTERS - April 25, 2017 FANUC ROBOTS CAN HANDLE THEIR BELGIUM BEER - April 25, 2017
