ODDY INSTALLATION AT THE HEART OF NEW CRAFT BAKING FACILITY February 18, 2014 News The new facility opened by leading craft baker, Clayton Park Bakery, in Huncoat, Lancashire, is set to produce high quality confectionery and bread products, and features a six row roll plant – the Novatek 428 – from specialist manufacturer Oddy. The installation is designed to produce products extremely efficiently while providing the capacity for further expansion in the future. “The Oddy installation brings together a roll divider/rounder, proofing station, finishing table and automatic servo panner modules and can produce up to 18,000 rolls per hour in sizes from 10 to 208 grams,” says John Glover, Oddy Sales Manager. “Significantly, the intermediate proofing facility allows products to relax – avoiding the need for a relaxant to be added – in order to produce softer products and high levels of consistency and quality.” “The new Oddy installation is our third during our 20 year history,” comments Barry Thomas, Clayton Park Bakery’s Managing Director. “Our decision was based on our experience of the quality, reliability and versatility of the units as well as Oddy’s back-up and support. We are confident that we have a facility which is not only central to our current operation but also to our plans well into the future.” Tel: 01924 405988 www.oddyuk.com About Latest Posts Publisher Latest posts by Publisher (see all) ZEO INVESTS IN LARGEST EVER BRAND RELAUNCH WITH NEW NO ADDED SUGAR RANGE & CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR CAROLINE FLACK - April 26, 2017 NEEDHAM CODING LAUNCHES FIRST OWN BRAND CONTINUOUS INK JET PRINTERS - April 25, 2017 FANUC ROBOTS CAN HANDLE THEIR BELGIUM BEER - April 25, 2017
