Stute Foods Unveil Three Jar Conserve Case for Convenience Stores October 24, 2014 News Stute Foods is launching a new, more convenient three jar case format of its premium marmalades and conserves specifically for the convenience store sector this month. The privately-owned family firm is extending its 340g range currently available in 6 x 340g case size to include a new 3 x 340g case size, for an improved preserve offer, at a low unit cost, to the independents sector. Laurence Hybs, Managing Director at Stute Foods, comments: “We believe there is a real opportunity to better equip retailers to meet the needs of their customers who are seeking more choice at their local store. “By providing three jars to a case it means retailers will not over-stock on one particular flavour and have more room on shelf for a wider variety of our premium conserve range. It’s a win-win result for the retailer and its customers”. Stute has six flavours in its premium conserve and marmalade range. These include Fine Cut and Thick Cut Orange Marmalades, Strawberry, Raspberry, Apricot and Blackcurrant Conserves. The range boasts a high fruit content, 50g of fruit per jar (40g blackcurrant) and 35g in its marmalade. The new jars will be available nationally through cash & carry and wholesalers with a suggested WSP of £2.99 – £3.49 and a suggested RSP of £1.29 and £1.59, from October.
