The Truckle Cheese 1kg logs!

Richard Callum, together with his wife and daughters have been in business for some 20 years, introducing the awarding winning Truckle Cheese Co. brand some 6 years ago.

For all our Truckle Cheese fans, we have decided to produce some of our evermore popular 200g size cheeses in a fantastic 1kg log, makes a great cutting cheese for any event or maybe an excuse for a get together with friends and family.

* 1kg Oak Smoked Cheddar:

o Naturally smoked over oakwood chips and made with milk produced on West Country farms. Each cheese is traditionally handmade with care and attention, guaranteeing an authentic, full farmhouse flavour. Suitable for vegetarians.

* 1kg Vesuvius Vintage Cheddar with Chilli

o This Mature English Cheddar is blended with chilli, green peppers and jalapenos to give a full-flavour kick. Made from milk produced on West Country farms, each cheese is traditionally handmade guaranteeing an authentic, full farmhouse flavour. A hint of chilli gives this mature cheese a subtle heat, perfect when combined with a fresh and fruity chutney or selection of cold meats.

* 1kg Goats Cheese

o Our new award-winning English Goats cheese is made with pasteurised Goats milk, giving a rich, creamy flavour. – Won Silver at the World Cheese Awards, a very proud moment! This mellow cheese is firm and moist, with a deep, smooth flavour that won’t overpower your cheeseboard. Great combined with fruity chutneys, crackers or for use in home cooking.

o Works well with:

* Crunchy oatcakes and a fruit chutney

* Vine tomatoes

* A fruity white wine, like Riesling or Syrah
