Bonds Confectionery donates £5000 to the Pink Ribbon Foundation July 7, 2015 News Bonds Confectionery has donated £5000 to breast cancer charity Pink Ribbon Foundation on the back of the success of the confectioner’s Pwinkies range. Bonds has supported the charity which helps the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer for the past year. The Foundation also works to advance the understanding of breast cancer, through essential research projects and through providing financial support to UK charities. Consisting of strawberry & cream flavoured cones, bottles, mice and pig faces, the Pwinkies have proved to be a great fund raiser for the charity. Philip Courtenay-Luck, managing director of Bonds Confectionery, commented: “The Pwinkies have not only been a great commercial success for Bonds, but their popularity has also benefitted the essential work that the Pink Ribbon Foundation undertakes. We’re sure the £5000 donation will help to ensure the charity can continue to help as many people as possible.” Lisa Allen, head of corporate partnerships & PR, commented: “We thank the team at Bonds Confectionery for all of their hard work and support since 2013. Working together has been well received both by their staff and of course by all of the retailers and customers who were kind enough to support the campaign and stock / buy Pwinkies. We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful and friendly partnership than that with Bonds Confectionery and we hope to work with them again in the future to continue to fight breast cancer.” For more information about the Bonds Confectionery range of products visit http://www.bonds-confectionery.co.uk or follow @BondsConf on Twitter.
