‘Pork Lovers Tour’ roadshow comes to Bristol July 18, 2018 Food, News REDISCOVERING SPANISH PORK July 18th and 19th: Over the course of one week, a group of experts from Spain continue with their journey travelling around the U.K. celebrating the flavours, traditions and nutritional benefits of Spanish products. Beginning tomorrow until Thursday, the roadshow will stop in Bristol before heading to Norwich! Parked at Broadmead, the truck invites the Bristolians to rediscover pork with interactive show cookings, easy, everyday recipe suggestions, ham slicing demonstrations and lessons about the nutritional benefits of white pork meat. On board, the Chef, David Marín, and Nutritionist, María García, will be on hand to showcase all of the different and delicious attributes of Spanish products. This didactic initiative, led by INTERPORC -non-profit association representing Spanish pork producers-, will host workshops providing the audience with traditional recipes and information that focuses on the versatility and variety of cooking this type of meat. Fun and interactive, it will be an opportunity for the whole family to learn more about Spanish cuisine, encouraging children to cook and adults to learn more about a product full of vitamins and proteins, an ideal one to include in healthy routines. The pink customized truck has already visited Southampton and Liverpool, and will be parked at Broadmead for 2 days (from 10am to 6pm).
