Alex James launches Goddess with Cheese Cellar November 13, 2012 News A new cheese called Goddess has been added to the Alex James Presents range. Available exclusively through Cheese Cellar, Goddess (circa 200g, SRP £6.95) is a rich, luscious cheese made from Guernsey cows’ milk. The richness of the milk comes through in the flavour and colour, and the rind washed in cider brandy adds colour and punch. “We wanted something really different to add to the artisan collection and were excited that we could source local Guernsey milk,” Alex James explains. “Goddess is a lovely creamy indulgent cheese that tastes amazing.” Goddess joins the existing two Alex James Presents goats cheeses: Little Wallop and Farleigh Wallop. The original recipes have been adjusted very slightly to improve the flavour and the Farleigh Wallop is now a small log shape rather than a round, making it more versatile for slicing and grilling – these changes were in response to feedback from chefs and consumers. Jonnie Archer, Commercial Director from Cheese Cellar, says: “We see this as a positive partnership where we can support the Alex James Presents collection of artisan cheese with our expertise and skills at Cheese Cellar.” About Latest Posts Publisher Latest posts by Publisher (see all) ZEO INVESTS IN LARGEST EVER BRAND RELAUNCH WITH NEW NO ADDED SUGAR RANGE & CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR CAROLINE FLACK - April 26, 2017 NEEDHAM CODING LAUNCHES FIRST OWN BRAND CONTINUOUS INK JET PRINTERS - April 25, 2017 FANUC ROBOTS CAN HANDLE THEIR BELGIUM BEER - April 25, 2017
