NEW BOXES IDEAL FOR LUXURY DRINKS

Leading rigid box manufacturer Pollard Boxes has invested £500,000 in the installation of a new fully automatic Emmeci MC2012 MEB for the manufacture of high quality presentation boxes for luxury drinks packs.

The new machine is the first of its kind to be installed in the UK and its ability to produce deep boxes and slipcases up to 330mm deep is a major advance over existing machines which are only capable of producing boxes up to 210mm.

The boxes can be finished with a variety of high quality decoration options including film lamination, embossing, silk screen UV varnish and hot foil stamping, all produced in-house, to help reinforce premium brand image on-shelf. In addition, Pollard’s new £250,000 Sakurai printer offers further decoration options through the incorporation of specialised finishes that help to create brand differentiation and shelf impact.
